So, I havent blogged in years, it feels like.
So, I've decided to blog about one of my favorite times of the year, HALLOWEEN!
This year, I took on a very very very big project.
The costume took me a long time, and a lot of hard work.
No one thought it would look good. So here goes..
I decided to make a Bumblee Bee Transformer costume that actually transforms when laying on the ground.

Here is the finished product.

So this is my boyfriend in it before I added some newer stuff to it, this was the first night we decided to take it out to a party, and attempt to win the costume contest. We went to Morley, in Brusly, LA. It was a packed night, and we tied for first, and had to rock paper scissors for the overall winner… and it was us! We ended up having a long night there, and the costume was broken in many pieces due to someone being veryyy sloppy. So then I had another week to add to it and redo the whole thing all over again, i added some lights, make the front end shorter, and filled cracks.

So what i used for the top lights was flashlights, and the bottom lights were book lights, all from the dollar tree.

The next weekend, I decided to take it to a bar called Lil’ Daddys in Plaquemine, where I placed first, and my mom (i did her makeup) placed second. It was too funny!!

So the next night, i begged my boyfriend to wear it to another bar, Mikes, where we took first again!!!

So the next night, he was very worn out from our Halloween events, but I knew I could not stop there at my favorite holiday of the year.. so I went to my last halloween costume contest at the Daiquiri Pub of Brusly, where I had to beat out like 10 girls who knew how to shake their butts… including this one, in a THONG, of which, DEMETRIUS BYRD wanted her to win….. yeah yeah…… dreamer.

so yeah, i won there too!! lol. on actual Halloween night, we went downtown lafayette, where we decided not to bring the costume, and that was the freaking night they were giving away 400$… oh well… my roommate got 3rd for being Flo from Progressive.

so yeah this halloween was a definite success.

Since I havent upated in ages, and the last few posts i did do were about me moving, here we go.. here’s the update.

So I moved to lafayette… in a 4 bedroom apartment/townhouse… I have one room mate- cecilia.. she’s pretty cool… And she’s also in the sorority I am in… SIGMAA!

It gets pretty lonely out here, because I am away from my family and boyfriend.. Hopefully that gets easier soon.. cuz im still homesick.. heres some latest pics

Oh hey, wordpress.

Yes I’ve realized im a total, complete slacker.

Excuse me, I’ve been busy.  Since the last post on my broken camera, i think it was… I have accomplished these things: Gotten my camera fixed, went on 2 sr trips, got a job, & an apartment!

I’m moving out on August 17 to the University House apartments. Then from there, i will rush that week, join a sorority, and go to school for Industrial Design.

I’m still a bit confused on what I want to do.. I have soo many options which include: industrial design, industrial engineer, architect, some other kind of engineer, marketing, finance, or business. YIKES.. any suggestions?

Hopefully I will love Lafayette, and hopefully I will meet new people! I dont know anyone, and that is what im most scared about.

So as I embark on a new future, ill try to keep you posted with MANY pictures and posts.

Modeling update: Modeling has been slacking for me lately.. I do have a shoot on friday though, pics will be up soon=]

My life lately.

So after graduation, which might i mention was super great, the party was amazing.. but i dont have pictures yet due to the fact my camera is screwed, im sending it back to canon today.

*not my camera, but just some REALLY screwed camera

So now to the Panama trip….
On my way to Panama, with Ty and Landon in the car with me… 2 freaking hours away from our destination, i hydroplane into a guard rail going at least 60 MPH.. the car wouldnt move when i turned the wheel, so it was all up to the car on where it wanted to go.. thank the lord that it didnt want to go into the woods which would cause a few flips, or wanted to cross across the median which would mean hitting other cars… So the car was definitely totaled, it was MY MOMS CAR, btw, good thing t wasnt mine..So we were all okay, i have a burn on my arm from the airbag and small brusies and thats it..

Panama was fun… went for 3 nights.. and got some sun, pictures will be up later when i feel like it.. but for now thats the update on life.

I havent updated in FOREVER

Ok, so i have an excuse… Ive been super busy with senior stuff… its been really hectic.. so heres the update

After senior pictures, i finished my last few days of school.. finished my bird in artt class, and lots of stencils.. Finished up with exams, took my calculus and english exam whilst in pain and drugged up due to a KIDNEY STONE, which i found out about after i took the exams… did terrible on those exams, and then did good on my spanish exam a few days later…

Finished my senior year with a 3.5. Number 10 in my class, i think.  Graduating fourth of the sr class of 2009.  Giving the closing speech at graduation.  I’M DAMN PROUD OF MYSELF.

I graduate on thursday.  I will keep Jason in my heart during this whole journey, i know he’d be right here with us, graduating at the top.  I miss him.

My journey to college orientation

as some may know, this is where i will be attending college in the fall.. I was invited to early orientation and went and this is my experience…

The first day was okay, mom came with me and kept me company.. we met one person and she was part of the orientation staff.. her name was danielle and she called me spoiled.. because my rents are paying for my apt and etc… i thought about joining a sorority, because i dont know anyone.. and im a loner, me and mom had lunch alone in the cafiteria, it wasnt too bad.. 

second day was a mess..was late, missed a whole 3 hours, which wasnt anything anyways, i took a nap in my car waiting for the orientation crew to show up.. then went talk to a professor about shit with a agroup of other business majors, he told me my idea about double majoring was STUPID, so i walked out and told him well maybe business is stupid and i went to the art department.. my major now is industrial design, ill design products, but now im thinking about doing engineering.. hmmmm.. idk. whatev. so then i talked to  some really nice lady, and she helped me.. then i scheduled my classes, ughh since im in honors i have to go to one class on tuesday, and MWF classes.. how gay… one class.. i might drop honors..
so then i ate lunch alone… like one of them losers at the corner of the table alone.. yeh thats me

 

yeh thats me… FML.

Tomorrow: I go to ULL for my ACE orientation.. I have one test, its calculus and stuff.. already tested out of math and english with my ACT scores.. Im pretty excited about going and starting a whole new little world=]
